Lucent pairs a solid brass frame with layered alabaster, finished in brushed gold. The alabaster is cut thin enough for light to pass through it, so the fixture glows rather than throwing a hard point of light.
Every size is dimmer switch compatible, runs a replaceable 90 CRI LED light strip at warm white 3000K, and is ETL (cETLus), UKCA, CE and RCM certified with a 1-year warranty.
Three sizes are offered — small, medium and large — and because the alabaster diffuses the light, the effect is ambient, so pair it with other lighting in a room you need to work in. It works over a dining table, in a living room, or in a bedroom where a softer light is wanted.

Which size should I choose?
Small is 25.5" across, Medium is 31.5" long, and Large is 39" long — all with a 7.3" fixture height and a 59" adjustable hanging chain. Small suits a smaller table or a bedroom; Medium and Large hold their own over a full dining table or in an open living room.
What are the shades made of?
Layered alabaster on a solid brass frame, finished in brushed gold. The alabaster is thin enough for light to pass through it, which is what gives the fixture a soft glow rather than a hard point of light.
How much light does it give?
20W (1000lm) on Small, 25W (1250lm) on Medium, and 30W (1500lm) on Large, all at warm white 3000K with a 90 CRI. Because the alabaster diffuses it, the effect is ambient rather than task lighting, so pair it with other lighting in a room you need to work in.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, every size is compatible with a standard dimmer switch, which is sold separately.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
We recommend one. It's a ceiling-suspended fixture on a chain, so it needs a properly rated ceiling box, and the largest size weighs just under 49 lbs.
